For years, I was on a path that looked successful from the outside. I climbed the career ladder in demanding IT roles, led high-stakes projects, and built a reputation I was proud of. But behind the scenes, I was living the "constant compromise."
As a father to three children, I found myself caught in a relentless struggle: the leader who was needed at work, and the dad who was needed at home. I was giving everything I had to both, yet felt like I was failing to be fully present for either. The professional success I’d worked so hard for was being overshadowed by a quiet fear that I was missing the moments that mattered most.
I knew something had to change. I wasn't willing to sacrifice my family for my career, nor was I willing to give up on having a professional life that was meaningful and impactful.
That journey of rebuilding my life around my values—learning to lead with energy and intention without sacrificing my family—is why I became a coach.
